Καθώς ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για την 65η απονομή των βραβείων Grammy η Μπιγιονσέ είναι η μεγάλη νικήτρια – υποψήφια σε εννέα κατηγορίες- ισοβαθμώντας με τον σύζυγό της Jay-Z, το ρεκόρ των 88 υποψηφιοτήτων στην ιστορία του θεσμού.

Το «Break My Soul» είναι υποψήφιο για το τραγούδι της χρονιάς, μαζί με το άλμπουμ της «Renaissance», να πρωτοστατεί στην κούρσα των βραβείων. Επιπλέον για πρώτη φορά στην πολυβραβευμένη καριέρα της έχει υποψηφιότητες στην κατηγορία «Dance» ενώ είναι υποψήφια στην κατηγορία «Electronica και R&B».

ΔΙΑΦΗΜΙΣΤΙΚΟΣ ΧΩΡΟΣ

Αμέσως μετά ακολουθεί ο ράπερ Κέντρικ Λαμάρ (Kendrick Lamar), ο οποίος συγκέντρωσε οκτώ υποψηφιότητες, η Αντέλ (Adele) και ο Μπράντι Καρλίλ (Brandi Carlile) επτά, και οι Χάρι Στάιλς (Harry Styles), Μαίρη Τζ. Μπλάιτζ (Mary J Blige), Future, Ντίτζεϊ Καλέντ (DJ Khaled), The-Dream και ο Ράντι Μέριλ (Randy Merrill) έξι.

 Η Μπιγιονσέ, η πιο πολυβραβευμένη γυναίκα στην ιστορία των Grammy με 28 βραβεία θα μπορούσε να σπάσει το ρεκόρ από το 1997 του αείμνηστου Ούγγρο-Βρετανού μαέστρου Γκέοργκ Σόλτι (Georg Solti) με 31 βραβεία Grammy αν κερδίσει τέσσερα βραβεία. Αυτή τη στιγμή είναι στη δεύτερη θέση μαζί με τον Κουίνσι Τζόουνς (Quincy Jones).

Η 65η απονομή των βραβείων Grammy θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 5 Φεβρουαρίου στο Λος Άντζελες, σύμφωνα με το AP.
